At Missouri Highlands Health Care, we help eligible patients access their prescribed medications at no cost or at a reduced price, thanks to partnerships with drug manufacturers.

How Our Patient Assistance Program Works

Our Patient Assistance Program supports qualifying patients by helping them obtain certain prescription medications at free or reduced prices. Each pharmaceutical company sets its own guidelines for assistance, which may change from time to time. (Please note: Applications are approved by the pharmaceutical companies, not Missouri Highlands Health Care. We follow their policies and procedures.)

Our Commitment to You

Our dedicated Patient Assistance Program staff is here to help you understand your prescription coverage, whether you have commercial insurance, state-funded insurance, or Medicare Part D. If you don’t have any prescription coverage, we work to connect you with pharmaceutical companies, the 340b program, and discount pharmacies to make sure you get the medications you need.

Our Impact

In the past 12 months, we’ve helped 455 patients, saving each an average of $4,289.60. In August alone, patients saved a total of $159,423. For the June-August quarter, total savings reached $461,406, and the year-to-date savings stand at an impressive $1,951,771.
